On January 10, 2024, DP World signed multiple MoUs with the Gujarat government worth Rs 250 billion. The agreement covers the development of new ports, terminals and economic zones. The company is committed to develop multipurpose deep-draught ports in south Gujarat and around the western coast of Gujarat towards Kutch, special economic zones in Jamnagar and Kutch, and Gati Shakti cargo terminals and private freight stations at Dahej, Vadodara, Rajkot, Bedi and Morbi. Besides, DP World has signed an MoU with the Gujarat Maritime Board to jointly identify opportunities to develop additional ports along the coast of Gujarat.
