The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) granted Donyi Polo Airport in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, an all-weather licence. This enables the possibility of night landings at the airport. The airport is spread over an area of 690 acres and has a runway of 2,300 metre length.
