The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has exceeded its 2023-24 monetisation target by awarding toll-operate-transfer (TOT) Bundles 13 and 14 for a total of Rs 93.84 billion. This achievement raises the total TOT bundles awarded in 2023-24 to Rs 159.68 billion, surpassing the initial target of Rs 100 billion. TOT Bundle 13, encompassing key sections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, was secured by IRB Infrastructure Trust for Rs 16.83 billion. Cube Highways and Infrastructure secured TOT Bundle 14, covering stretches in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha, for Rs 77.01 billion. In addition, NHAI has invited bids for three new highway stretches covering a total of 375 km in Telangana and Tamil Nadu. The monetisation will include the bundling of two stretches in Telangana as TOT Bundle 16 and one in Tamil Nadu as Bundle 15. The offerings include 251 km on the Hyderabad-Nagpur corridor in Telangana and a 124 km stretch on the Trichy-Tovrankurichi-Madurai section. Bids for both bundles are due by February 28, 2024.
