South Eastern Railway (SER) commissioned Ghatsila-Salga Jhari section of the Kharagpur-Adityapur railway third line project on January 18, 2024. The project involves development of a third line between Kharagpur and Adityapur in West Bengal and Jharkhand respectively covering a distance of 132 km. It entails an investment of Rs 14.83 billion.
