NHPC invites EoI for offshore wind projects

NHPC Limited has invited expression of interest (EoI) from companies based in India and globally for empaneling to set up offshore wind projects. To be located in India, the projects’ empanelment timeline will be five years. NHPC aims to partner with companies possessing considerable expertise in the global development of offshore wind power projects through the Eol process. NHPC also plans to collaborate with the empaneled companies to prepare and present bids for concessions issued by the government or its agencies, aiming for setting up offshore wind power projects in India under a build-own-operate framework. The bid submission deadline is February 17, 2024.
