Centre inaugurates Puthuvypeen LPG import terminal

The union government has inaugurated the Puthuvypeen liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) import terminal. Indian Oil Corporation Limited established facilities for receipt, storage and dispatch of imported LPG at Puthuvypeen special economic zone in Kochi in the state of Kerala entailing an investment of Rs 12.36 billion. The import terminal having 15,400 million tonnes storage capacity would ensure steady supply of LPG to million households and commercial establishments.
