The construction work on Ganga Four-Lane Expressway Project (Phase I) to be completed by December 2024.
The project involves construction of 593.34 km long four lane access-controlled expressway (expandable to six lanes) over Ganga River from Meerut to Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh at an investment of Rs 456.65 billion. It will connect Amroha, Bulandshahr, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Farrukhabad, Hardoi, Kannauj, Unnao, Rae Bareli and Pratapgarh to Prayagraj and will have five major bridges, eight Rail over Bridges (RoBs) and 18 flyovers on public private partnership (PPP) mode.
