Himachal Pradesh government laid foundation stone for Nahan sewerage scheme

The government of Himachal Pradesh laid the foundation stone for Nahan sewerage scheme on January 6, 2024. Under the project, the city has been divided into three zones. The project includes construction of 2.29 mld in zone 1, 1.54 mld in zone 2 and 0.63 mld in zone 3. The capacity will be increased to 3.43 mld, 2.22 mld and 0.95 mld in zone 1, 2 and 3 respectively by 2041. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1.44 million. It is being funded by the French Development Agency Agence Francaise de Development.
