The Kerala government has sanctioned funds worth Rs 3,785.7 million for the development of the Kochi Metro Rail Project Phase II. The project involves the development of an 11.17 km long metro rail network from the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium to Infopark via Kakkanad, as an extension of Phase I in Kerala, at an investment of Rs 19.57 billion.
