Fairfax India Holdings Corporation has acquired a 7 per cent additional stake in Bangalore International Airport Limited from Siemens Project Ventures GmbH for $175 million. This follows Fairfax’s ealier purchase of a 3 per cent equity stake from Siemens Financial for $75 million. With this recent transaction, Fairfax now has a 64 per cent ownership in the airport, which includes a 20.4 per cent stake held by a wholly owned subsidiary and 43.6 per cent by an indirect subsidiary, Anchorage Infrastructure Investments Holdings Limited.
