Western Railway (WR) is expected to complete the deployment of KAVACH protection system on Mumbai-Ratlam route by June 2024. Meanwhile, Mumbai to Ratlam covers 735 km and has three sections These are 336 km long Virar-Surat-Vadodara section, 96 km long Vadodara-Ahmedabad section and 303 km long Vadodara-Ratlam-Nagda section The system will be deployed on 90 locomotives on this route.
