Wadi Municipal Corporation commences construction work on STP in Wadi

Wadi Municipal Corporation has commenced the construction work on an sewage treatment plant (STP) in Wadi, Maharashtra. The scope of work includes the construction of a 10 mld STP along with a sewerage network of 72 km at an estimated cost of Rs 840 million. The work is likely to be completed in a year and six months. Besides, the construction of an effluent treatment plant has also been proposed. These plants aim to rejuvenate the Ambazari lake.
