Phase I of the Bhogapuram Greenfield International Airport project (Vizianagaram) is likely to be completed by December 2025. The project involves design, build, finance, construction, development, upgradation, modernisation, operation and maintenance (O&M) of the airport under public-private partnership (PPP) mode in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh. It will be implemented in three phases: Phase I at an estimated cost of Rs 47.27 billion with a capacity of 6 mppa. Besides, it will be increased to 12 mppa and 18 mppa in phase II and phase III respectively.
