MoPNG invites bids for ninth round of auction under OALP

In a recent update, MoPNG has invited bids for exploration and development of 28 oil and gas blocks, including nine onland, eight shallow water and eleven ultra-deep water blocks, under the ninth round of OALP under the Hydrocarbon Exploration and Licensing Policy. The last date for submission of bids is February 29, 2024. The blocks include CB-ONHP-2022/2, CB-ONHP-2023/1, CB-ONHP-2023/2, CB-ONHP-2023/3, CB-OSHP-2023/1, CB-OSHP-2023/2 at Cambay basin; AS-ONHP-2022/2, AS-ONHP-2022/3 at Assam Shelf basin; GS-ONHP-2023/1, GS-ONHP-2023/2, GS-ONHP-2023/3, GS-OSHP-2022/1, GS-OSHP-2022/2, GS-OSHP-2023/1, GS-UDWHP-2023/1, GS-UDWHP-2023/2 at Saurashtra basin; CB-OSHP-2023/1, CB-OSHP-2023/2 at Cambay basin; MB-OSHP-2023/1, MB-OSHP-2023/2 at Mumbai Offshore basin; GK-OSHP-2023/1 at Kutch basin; KG-UDWHP-2023/1, KG-UDWHP-2023/2 at Krishna-Godavari basin, CY-UDWHP-2022/1, CY-UDWHP-2022/2, CY-UDWHP-2022/3, CY-UDWHP-2023/1 at Cauvery basin; and MN-UDWHP-2023/1 at Mahanadi basin.
