A 700 kWp solar power plant has been installed on the Sabarmati multi modal transit hub under the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high speed rail corridor (MAHSR) project in Ahmedabad. National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has become the first company to receive approval for non-metering in RESCO mode along with registration from Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) for the project. Around 1 million units of green energy will be generated through the solar plant every year with no expenditure on maintenance and investment for 25 years by NHSRCL.
