GPS Renewables has successfully obtained contracts worth Rs 20 billion for the execution of various compressed biogas (CBG) projects across India. The CBG plants are designed to handle 4,000 tonnes per day (TPD) of agricultural residues and energy crops, along with 300 TPD of municipal solid waste, with the goal of producing biogas and efficiently addressing the accumulation of waste in landfills. These initiatives aim to produce daily output of at least 350 TPD of CBG. With this significant order backlog, the company is positioned to surpass a turnover of Rs 5 billion in 2024.
