Domestic flight operations commence at new terminal building of Surat Airport

Domestic flight operations commenced at the new terminal building under the Surat airport expansion project on December 25, 2023. The project involved the expansion of the Surat Airport in Mangdalla in Gujarat to commence international operations from the airport at an estimated cost of Rs 3.53 billion. It includes the development of a parallel taxi track, an extension of apron and a new terminal building.
