The construction work of the 24×7 Valasaravakkam Zone Water Supply Scheme (WSS) pilot project is likely to be completed by March 2024 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Currently, most of the pipelines have been laid and system testing is ongoing along with SCADA automation-based smart meter installation. The pilot project includes 24×7 WSS to Majestic Colony and Ramakrishna Nagar in the Valasaravakkam Zone. It will provide water supply to 70,000 residents in 8,212 households of the area.
