The central government has informed Parliament that 5G services in India have been expanded to 738 districts and around 100 million users so far, witnessing one of the fastest 5G roll-outs in the world. In addition, the gross revenue of telecom service providers has crossed Rs 3 trillion for the first time in financial year 2022-23.
