The Uttarakhand government has allocated the development of five hydroelectric projects (HEPs) and pumped storage projects (PSPs) to THDCIL-UJVNL Energy Company Limited. The projects include the 63 MW Mori Hanol HEP, 280 MW Urthing Sobla HEP, 146 MW Bogudiyar Sarkari Bhyol HEP, 600 MW Pungarh-Matiyala PSP, and 630 MW Jaspalgarh PSP. The projects are expected to entail an investment worth Rs 170 billion.
