Vande Bharat registers upsurge in passenger traffic in November 2023

A total of 1,94,902 passengers opted for Vande Bharat train service during November 2023. The highest occupancy rate of 116.5 per cent was recorded by Solapur-CSMT Express for carrying a total of 32,854 passengers, followed by CSMT-Solapur Express at occupancy rate of 107.93 per cent for carrying 30,487 passengers. Meanwhile, CSMT-Goa Madgaon Express, Goa Madgaon-CSMT Express and Nagpur-Bilaspur Express and Bilaspur-Nagpur Express also registered an occupancy rate of more than 100 percent. For others, the occupancy rates stood at 86.72 per cent for CSMT-Shirdi Express, 80 per cent for Shirdi-CSMT Express, 87.80 per cent for Nagpur-Indore Express and 89.93 per cent for Indore-Nagpur Express.
