Andhra Pradesh’s CM commences construction of solar projects, substations worth Rs 66 billion

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced the commencement of a 750 MW solar project in Kadapa and a 100 MW solar plant in Anantapur. Additionally, the state government inaugurated 12 Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh substations in districts of Alluri Sitharama Raju, Sri Satya Sai, Eluru, Palnadu, Nellore, Annamayya and Kadapa. The government also declared plans for the establishment of 16 additional substations in the state in districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Kakinada, East Godavari, Konaseema, West Godavari, Guntur, Prakasam, Nandyal and Kurnool districts. The total cost of these projects is worth Rs 66 billion.
