In an effort to strengthen India’s railway communication and information technology infrastructure, REC Limited will provide Rs 300 billion in funding to RailTel Corporation of India. The MoU, signed on November 9, 2023, aims to provide support to various projects over the next five years, including telecom, IT services and railway signaling systems, and the KAVACH train collision prevention system.
