NTPC REL issues BoS package tender for 1,080 MW wind project

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has issued a balance of system (BoS) package tender for 1,080 MW inter-state transmission system connected wind project. The project will be located in Karnataka. According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work under the project includes designing, engineering, micro-sitting, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and validation of guaranteed performance parameters. This involves installing the wind farm, starting from the 33 kV internal evacuation lines from the unit substation, pooling substation, central monitoring and control station, wind monitoring mast, external extra high voltage transmission line, extending to Gadag-II ISTS substation, and other related components. The bid submission deadline is December 4, 2023.
