CCI approves merger of IDFC Limited with IDFC FIRST Bank

The CCI has approved the merger of IDFC Limited with IDFC FIRST Bank. IDFC FIRST Bank provides banking services, while its parent IDFC Limited (IDFCL) is an RBI-registered non-banking financial company. The merger is subject to conditions, the merger of IDFC Financial Holding with IDFC Limited being the first step, followed by the merger of IDFCL and IDFC FIRST Bank.
