Construction work on the Lucknow Four Lane Outer Ring Road (ORR) Project is likely to be completed by December 2023. The project involves the construction of the 105 km long Lucknow ORR in Uttar Pradesh, at an estimated cost of Rs 52 billion. About 80 per cent of the work has been completed on the Behta (next to Mohan)-Sitapur highway (next to Bakshi-Ka-Talab) stretch. Construction of the B-loop “leaf” for entry and exit from the Kanpur and Lucknow side of the ORR is under progress on the section connecting Rae Bareli highway and Kanpur highway. Moreover, work on two railway overbridges and one bridge over the Agra-Lucknow expressway is also in progress.
