MoHUA approves the extension of Pune Metro Rail Project – Phase I

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has approved the extension of the Pune Metro Rail Project – Phase I from Pimpri Chinch­wad Municipal Corporation to Nigdi. The 4.41 km extension is estimated to cost Rs 9.1 billion. It is likely to have three elevated stations at Chin­ch­wad, Akurdi and Nigdi.
