Ashoka Buildcon receives CoD for Package III of Tumkur-Shivamogga Road Project

Ashoka Buildcon Limited has declared October 17, 2023 as the commercial operation date (COD) for Package III of the Tumkur-Shivamogga Four Laning Road Project. Ashoka Banwara Bettadahalli Road Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ashoka Concessions Limited, itself a subsidiary of Ashoka Buildcon Limited, is executing the project. It has also received a provisional completion certificate for 39.05 km of the total 48.515 km stretch. The project involves four laning of the 48.51 km long Banawara-Bettadahalli section from 119.79 km to 166.1 km (de­sign chainage: 121.9 km to 170.4 km) of the Tumkur-Shivmogga road stretch on National Highway (NH)-206 at an estimated cost of Rs 9.066 billion. The project is being implemented on a hybrid annuity model un­der Bharatmala Pariyojana.
