Airtel and Vi planning to sell stake in Wi-Fi JV FireFly to London-based Digital Infrastructure Accelerator

Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea Limited are reportedly planning to sell a 100 per cent stake in their Wi-Fi joint venture, FireFly Networks, to London-based Digital Infrastructure Accelerator, along with a Middle East-based fund. Following the acquisition, the new owners plan to invest up to $100 million over the next two years to assist the Wi-Fi infrastructure company in expanding across the country.
