During the Global Maritime India Summit (GMIS) 2023, 360 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with an investment requirement of Rs 8.35 trillion were signed. Besides, investible projects worth Rs 1.68 trillion were announced. These MoUs focus on various maritime sector industries, such as port development and modernisation, green hydrogen and ammonia, port-led development, business and commerce, ship building, knowledge sharing and port connectivity. Discussions were held around sustainable development, encompassing green ports and shipping.
