The construction work on the Lucknow Four Lane Outer Ring Road (ORR) Project is likely to complete by December 2023. About 80 per cent work has been completed on Behta (next to Mohan)-Sitapur highway (next to Bakshi-Ka-Talab) stretch. The service lanes to be added on both sides of road to make it an eight-lane project. Work on the flyover approach and the Jehta Mall Road subway is also ongoing.
Construction of B-loop ‘leaf’ for entry and exit from Kanpur and Lucknow side on the outer ring road is also under progress on the section connecting Rae Bareli highway and Kanpur highway. Besides, work on two railway over bridge and one bridge over Agra-Lucknow expressway is also under progress.
The project involves construction of 105 km long Lucknow outer ring road at an estimated cost of Rs 52 billion in Uttar Pradesh.
