Centre inaugurates and lays foundation stones of multiple oil and gas projects

The central government has commissioned and laid the foundation stone for multiple oil and gas projects across the states of Telangana, Rajas­than and Madhya Pradesh. In Telangana, it commissioned the Hassan-Cherlapalli liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) pipeline and laid the foundation stone for the Krishnapatnam-Hyderabad product pipeline. In Rajasthan, it commissioned the Pali-Hanumangarh section of the Mehsana-Bhatinda-Gurdaspur natural gas pipeline, the Abu Road LPG bottling plant and additional storage at the Ajmer LPG bottling plant. It also commissioned the Vijaipur-Auraiya-Phulpur spurline, laid the foundation stone for the Nagpur-Jabalpur section, spanning about 317 km, of the Mumbai-Nagpur-Jhar­su­guda natural gas pipeline, and commissioned a bottling plant built at an estimated cost of Rs 1.47 billion in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
