Siemens Energy is considering selling a part of its 24 per cent stake worth $3.4 billion in Siemens Limited to former parent Siemens AG. This partial stake sale would be a quick way for the company to strengthen its capital base. Siemens AG currently owns 51 per cent of Siemens Limited and raising this would be a strategic move the group could justify to its shareholders.
