Foundation stone laid for various water supply and sewage projects in Gujarat

The Central Government inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various water supply and sewage projects in Gujarat on October 30, 2023. The projects which were inaugurated include two drinking water supply scheme for Palanpur and Banaskantha, Dharoi dam-based Palanpur lifeline project which includes head work and a WTP having a capacity of 80 mld and Valasana barrage on Sabarmati river. Besides, foundation stone was also laid for septage and sewerage management project at Kalol in Gandhinagar district, sewage treatment plant at Siddhpur in Patan, Palanpur in Banaskantha, Bayad in Aravalli and Vadnagar in Mehsana and lake rejuvenation projects in villages of Vijapur and Manasa taluka of Mehsana and Gandhinagar districts.
