IL&FS Transportation Networks Limited (ITNL) has received the approval for transfer of 100 per cent equity stake of Jorabat Shillong Expressway Limited (JSEL), a special purpose vehicle (SPV), incorporated for implementation of the Jorabat-Shillong (Barapani) Four Laning Highway Project (NH-40) to Sekura Roads Limited at an enterprise value of Rs 9,169 million.
The project involved four laning of Jorabat-Shillong (Barapani) road stretch from 0 km to 61.8 km of the national highway (NH)-40 in Assam and Meghalaya. The NHAI is implementing the project on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) mode.
