To foster connectivity, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has granted its approval for loan worth Rs 14.54 billion ($175 million) for the upgradation of roads in Madhya Pradesh.
It would involve upgradation of about 500 km including state highways and major district roads to a standard two-lane incorporating climate- and disaster-resilient aspects, innovative road safety elements in the state.
