AG&P inaugurates CGS at Vallam, Kancheepuram

In a notable development, AG&P Pratham has inaugurated city gate station (CGS) at Vallam, Kamcheepuram in the state of Tamil Nadu. With this, there are 32 stations in Kancheepuram geographic area (GA). The CGS will cater to providing piped natural gas (PNG) to industrial consumers to meet their fuel demands. Besides, it will also supply natural gas to 31 daughter booster compressed natural gas (CNG) stations and 0.025 domestic PNG customers. AG&P Pratham holds 25-year exclusive rights from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board to develop city gas distribution (CGD) infrastructure and supply gas in more than 278,000 square km area across the states of Rajasthan, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. This involves setting up more than 1,500 CNG stations and 17,000 inch-km of pipelines.
