Adani Energy Solutions Limited has commissioned 1,756 ckm 765 kV Warora-Kurnool transmission line under the Warora-Warangal and Chilakaluripeta-Hyderabad-Kurnool 765 kV Link project. The project will strengthen the national grid to ensure seamless power flow of 4,500 MW between the western and southern regions. Warora-Kurnool Transmission Limited (WKTL), a special purpose vehicle for the project was incorporated in April 2015. WKTL is developing the additional inter-regional AC link for import into southern region i.e. Warora-Warangal and Chilakaluripeta-Hyderabad-Kurnool 765 kV link in the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.
