The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has empanelled Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud services through the AWS Asia-Pacific (Hyderabad) Region. The empanelment confirms that AWS complies with government standards of quality, availability and security, and provides government organisations, PSUs, statutory bodies and financial institutions regulated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India an opportunity to innovate using the company’s cloud services.
