The Rajasthan government laid the foundation stone for a sewerage project in Kotputli, Rajasthan, on September 25, 2023. The scope of the project includes the development of a sewerage line on the eastern side of the Jaipur-Delhi highway, construction of a sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 11.11 mld in Chaturbhuj, and sewerage connections by laying a pipeline of 149 km. The sewerage line will cover Ganga Colony, Ram Vihar, Dayawati Vihar, Gaushala Road, Sarai Mohalla, Badabas Mohalla, Azad Chowk, Buchahera Mohalla, Shakti Vihar, Garh Colony, Nagaji ki Gaur, Durga Mata Temple, Umrao Cinema, Kunj Vihar and Old Municipality Tiraha from the main intersection. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1.96 billion.
