The central government inaugurated the Dwarka Sector 21-Dwarka Sector 25 Metro Rail Project on September 17, 2023. The project involved the development of a 1.88 km long metro rail network from Dwarka Sector 21 to Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25 in Delhi near the Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre, as part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor. The corridor, an extension of the existing Airport Express Link of Delhi Metro, entailed an investment of Rs 3.1 billion.
