24×7 drinking water supply facilities inaugurated in five more cities of Bhubaneswar

24×7 drinking water supply facilities have been inaugurated in five more cities of Bhubaneswar on October 9, 2023. These cities are Rairangpur, Champua, Biramitrapur, Rajgangpur and Nimapara. Additionally, 149 municipal wards of 13 other cities have also been covered under this pro­ject. These 149 wards are located in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berham­pur, Rourkela, Sundargarh, Vyasanagar, Keonjhar, Khurda, Jatni, Ananda­pur, Joda, Badbil and Hinjilikat. It is expected that the scheme will now benefit a population of 1.23 million in these cities.
