WTP inaugurated at Subhash Bose Park in Kochi

A newly constructed water treatment plant (WTP) was inaugurated at Subhash Bose Park by Kochi Municipal Corporation and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited Refinery in Kochi on October 3, 2023. The WTP will solve the issue of high salinity and iron content in the water which had been spoiling the plants in the park. It has a capacity to treat around 50,000 litres of water per day. Before this, water from a borewell was being used for watering the park. Furthermore, two water purifiers have also been installed in the park for use by visitors.
