Eagle Infra India Limited has won a contract worth Rs 1.1 billion for the implementation of phase III of the Shegaon underground sewerage scheme (UGSS) under the Maharashtra Suvarna Jayanti Nagarotthan Mahaabhiyan Yojana at Khamgaon Taluk in Buldhana district. Bids for the same were invited by the Shegaon Municipal Council in March 2023. The scope of work includes laying of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) and HDPE trunk main pipes, construction of a pumping station (wet well with overhead pump house), rising main, sewage treatment plant (STP) of 8.5 mld and 2.5 mld based on sequential batch reactor (SBR) technology, RCC Sump and railway and road crossing by push through method.
