The JV of J. Kumar Infra Projects Limited and NCC Limited received Letter of Award (LoA) worth 63.01 billion for implementation of Phase IIIB of Goregaon-Mulund Link Road (GMLR) – Tunnel Project on September 21, 2023.
The sharing ratio of the parties in the JV is NCC Limited (51 per cent) & J Kumar Infra (49 per cent) and, the share of works to be executed by NCC works out to Rs 32.13 billion and J. Kumar Rs 30.87 billion. The project will be executed by a special purpose vehicle (SPV) to be formed for this purpose.
Bids for the same were issued by Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) in October 2022.
The completion period and defect liability period (DLP) is 60 months and 120 months respectively. Phase IIIB involves construction of a 4.7 km long twin tunnel from film city (including box tunnel), Goregaon to Khindipada, Mulund in Maharashtra.
