JSW Infrastructure to double its capacity in 7 to 10 years

Reportedly, JSW Infrastructure Limited is expected to double its capacity in 7 to 10 years. It has an installed capacity of 158.43 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) including 72 mtpa at various terminals it operates at major ports. The company is currently participating in tenders for terminals in Goa, Haldia, Kandla, Ennore and Vishakhapatnam, among others, and will be prioritising container, liquid and gas terminals. Besides, the company’s Rs 28 billion initial public offering (IPO) opened for subscription on September 25, 2023 and closed on September 27, 2023. The IPO received bids for 5,093,527,446 shares, compared to 136,283,186 shares on offer. The issue was subscribed 37.37 times. The qualified institutional buyers’ category subscribed 57.09 times, the non-institutional investors’ category subscribed 15.99 times, and the retail individual investors’ category subscribed 10.32 times.
