Megha City Gas Distribution Private Limited has commissioned two compressed natural gas (CNG) daughter booster stations in Wardha geographical area (GA) in the state of Maharashtra. Megha Gas plans to establish 15 CNG stations in the Wardha GA. Besides, it is also laying a pipeline from Chandrapur to Bhallarsha for supply of piped natural gas (PNG). Moreover, it has commissioned its fourth CNG station at National Highway-44 near Annasagar in Mahabubnagar GA in the state of Telangana. In the eleventh city gas distribution (CGD) bidding round by Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board, Megha Gas has bagged licences for 15 GAs across the country. It has won GAs in nine states, i.e., Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu for carrying out CGD work.
