31 clean water and sewerage projects approved in Punjab

The Water Supply and Sewerage Board of Punjab approved 31 clean water and sewerage projects on September 4, 2023. Projects worth Rs 1.03 billion would be taken up in several areas namely, Arniwala, Fazilka, Talwara, Bhadson, Balachaur, Budhlada, Bareta, Amloh, Handiaya, Bhadaur, Mandi Gobindgarh, Sangrur, Nawanshahr, Sirhind, etc. Additionally, sewerage treatment plants (STPs) are also in progress in various cities of Punjab which are expected to be completed in the coming months.
