The construction work on the Sela Pass Tunnel under the Balipara-Charduar-Tawang Road Upgradation Project is likely to be completed by the end of September 2023. It involves the construction of an 11.31 km long twin tunnel (980 m and 1555 m) and 8.780 km approach roads, ensuring all-weather connectivity between Guwahati, Assam and Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, at an estimated cost of Rs 7,000 million.
