National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has commenced trial runs for the RAPID trains on the Sahibabad-Duhai stretch of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS). The project involves the development of the 82.15 km RRTS connecting the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor in the states of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, with an investment of Rs 302.74 billion.
